While the city sizzles with heat, our cinema offers a pleasant escape. You can not only cool off nicely thanks to the air conditioning, but also immerse yourself in summer stories that perfectly match the season. 

For the special program, Hot Town, Summer in the City, Rialto staff selected five beloved films that celebrate summer in all its forms. From the lighthearted Japanese sports comedy Waterboys to the steamy A Bigger Splash featuring Tilda Swinton and Ralph Fiennes. The cult classic The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert, the adventurous coming-of-age story Stand by Me, and the award-winning Mexican film Y tu mamá también are also part of the selection. 

The first film of this summer program will be screened on July 13. Until August 24, you can enjoy summer films in the coolness at Rialto De Pijp.
