1. General
1.1 Under Rialto, we mean: Amsterdam Filmhouse Foundation Rialto.
1.2 By purchasing a ticket or visiting a Rialto location, the visitor agrees to these visitor conditions.
1.3 Rialto staff may give visitors instructions in the interest of safety, order, accessibility, and a pleasant visitor experience. Visitors must follow these instructions.
2. Access and Tickets
2.1 Visitors must hold a valid admission ticket during a film visit and show it upon request from Rialto staff.
2.2 For films with a Kijkwijzer classification of 16 or 18 years, entry is not granted to visitors under the specified age. If in doubt, a valid identification may be requested.
2.3 Children up to and including 2 years have free access to shows suitable for all ages, provided they sit on a guardian's lap. If a separate seat is desired, a ticket must be purchased.
2.4 Online ticket sales and box office sales close after the start of the performance. To prevent disruption to other visitors, access to the auditorium may be denied once the main film has started.
2.5 Tickets purchased online can be canceled up to four hours before the performance starts. After cancellation, the visitor will receive a Rialto credit equivalent to the purchase amount. Refunds in cash are not possible.
2.6 If a performance is canceled by Rialto, visitors will receive a refund of the ticket price or, if possible, an alternative offer.
2.7 Rialto reserves the right to change programs, start times, auditoriums, guests, or other components of an event when circumstances warrant it.
2.8 For visits with a Cineville pass, in addition to these visitor conditions, the terms of Cineville apply.
3. Behavior in the Cinema
3.1 We ask visitors to consider each other and our staff.
3.2 In the cinema, the following is not allowed:
to smoke or vape;
to cause disturbance;
to display discriminatory, intimidating, or aggressive behavior;
to bring dangerous objects, weapons, or drugs;
to perform commercial activities without permission.
3.3 Pets are not allowed, except for guide and assistance dogs.
3.4 Visitors may be asked to open bags or luggage if deemed necessary. If a visitor does not comply, access may be denied.
3.5 Visitors who disrupt safety, atmosphere, or operations may be removed from the cinema. In that case, there is no right to a refund of the ticket price.
3.6 If a visitor repeatedly does not follow instructions from Rialto staff or volunteers, or behaves in such a way that safety, peace, or a pleasant visit for others is disrupted, Rialto may deny access to the cinema.
In severe cases or repeated misconduct, Rialto may decide to impose a (temporary or permanent) ban on access to the cinema. The visitor will be informed about this.
4. Photos, Video, and Copyrights
4.1 Making recordings of films, trailers, or other copyright-protected parts of a performance is not allowed.
4.2 During festivals, events, and other activities, photos or video recordings may be made for reporting and promotional purposes of Rialto. Visitors may appear recognizable in these images.
4.3 If a visitor objects to the publication of images in which he or she is clearly depicted, they can contact us via info@rialtofilm.nl.
5. Liability
5.1 Visitors enter the cinema at their own risk.
5.2 Rialto does everything possible to make a safe and pleasant visit. If damage occurs due to a shortcoming on the part of Rialto, liability is limited to what is legally permitted.
5.3 Rialto is not liable for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings of visitors unless there is intent or gross negligence on the part of Rialto.
6. Privacy
6.1 The processing of personal data is subject to the privacy statement of the Amsterdam Filmhouse Foundation (Rialto).

7. Complaints and Contact
