From September 18 to 27, the national Bioscoop 10-Daagse (Cinema 10-Day) takes place. Throughout the Netherlands, cinemas and film theatres pay extra attention to film. Rialto is also organizing two special screenings.
Bioscoop 10-Daagse in Rialto
September 16: No Good Men with director Shahrbanoo Sadat
On Wednesday, September 16, there will be a preview screening of No Good Men at Rialto De Pijp. Before the film, director Shahrbanoo Sadat will discuss her work and the film. This special event marks the kickoff of our Bioscoop 10-Daagse program. From September 17, the film will be regularly screening at Rialto.
September 21: preview screening Mémoire de fille
On Monday, September 21, we are organizing a special preview screening of Mémoire de fille as part of the Bioscoop 10-Daagse. Director Judith Godrèche and her daughter Tess Barthélemy, who plays the young Annie Ernaux in the film, will be present. Afterwards, they will engage in conversation with the audience. The evening will be hosted by Chazia Mourali.
