At festivals both domestically and internationally, countless beautiful films can be seen. So many, in fact, that not all of them make it to the silver screen in Dutch cinemas. Eye Filmmuseum believes this is a mistake. That's why Eye brings a selection of these films to our country every summer under the title Previously Unreleased.

These hidden gems, which have not been seen before, will also be on display this summer at Rialto. We kick off with Cheryl Dunye's feature film debut The Watermelon Woman on Thursday, June 25. In July and August, Bouchra, Diciannova, Blue Sun Palace, Magellan, and On a String will follow.
