Trippel Trappel Dierensinterklaas

A really fun animated film from the Netherlands and Belgium. Why don’t the animals actually get any presents from Sinterklaas? Fretje the ferret, who’s always busy and often a bit overconfident, can’t think of a reason and, just like the other animals, writes a wish list to leave by the fireplace. But there’s a problem: it’s already the evening of Pakjesavond, the evening of all the presents…

There’s no choice but to hand the wish lists over to St Nicholas himself. Together with Takkie the stick insect and Kari the canary, he sets off. Final destination: St Nicholas’s steamboat. But it’s not that easy to get there, especially not when you’re being thwarted by the nasty rat.
