The lives of Ren, an orchid delivery driver in Tokyo, and his sister Emi are thrown into disarray when their father Hajime, a self-centred landscape architect, suddenly reappears after years of absence.
In the ever-bustling city of Tokyo, Ren, like his sister Emi, is still haunted by the untimely loss of his mother, Yumiko, who took her own life. They have long since lost contact with their father, Hajime, a man who always put his career as a landscape architect first. But that was a long time ago; Ren now works as an orchid delivery driver, whilst Emi is busy preparing for her upcoming wedding. One day, a floral arrangement has to be delivered to Hajime, who has returned after spending three years abroad. The confrontation with his father does not leave Ren unmoved, and even though Emi claims not to care about him, his return affects her deeply too.

In this sensitive family drama, his feature film debut, Japanese director Yuiga Danzuka shows that everything is subject to change; the relationship between brother, sister and their father, just as much as the city of Tokyo, which is increasingly crammed with soulless buildings.
