Famous rock star Marianne Lane is spending her vacation on the idyllic Italian island of Pantelleria, together with filmmaker Paul De Smedt. They could both use some relaxation: Marianne, recovering from surgery, has temporarily lost her voice, while Paul is trying to overcome his alcohol addiction. The peace is disrupted when unexpected visitors arrive: Marianne’s ex-lover, record producer Harry, and his attractive daughter Penelope.
